This is a well-bolted, super-fun climb.  It's still a little dirty since it's a new route, so be careful!

Located on a prominent prow I like to call "The Flying Dutchman", 'Cape Point' ascends the right side of this feature. Start directly under a high roof and to the right of a small bulge/nose feature. Climb up to a good foot ledge and reach out left to clip the 1st bolt. Work left to the bulge/nose feature, possibly moving downwards a bit. Pull/mantle onto the bulge/nose feature and find a great left-hand jug to clip the 2nd bolt. Move out right to the high roof and work through the first and easier crux of pulling onto the ledge above the roof, where a good rest presents itself. Another crux appears between the 3rd and 4th bolts. Follow 2 more bolts to some easier traditional climbing up cracks and blocks. There are some fun exit moves to get to a 2-bolt anchor with chains and quick-links.

Steep and sustained climbing up to the roof leads to a slightly runout face and a tricky move to the top.  It is destined to become a Durango classic!

Climbing past bolts through fun bulges leads to a gear finish on deceptive cracks.

This is a great, short, sport route for those who are just beginning.

.  Climb past some bolts to a short section of crack then through a bulge and up the face past more bolts to a fixed anchor at the top.

Climb the dirty, low-angle groove to the steeper and cleaner offwidth crack. Finish at a bolted anchor.

This route is an awesome face climb. The rating is steep, because it is a techy route where your sequencing matters!

The crux is between the 5th and 6th bolt at the small roof! The feet are small, but there are two small indents into the rock to put your big toe. Step up to a higher left foot, reach for the roof corner, and layback into it! Move your right foot to a smear, and put the left around the ledge to another smear. It is a pretty sweet move to get to the underclinging roof for a quick 6th bolt clip!

Luckily, the route is sustained, so be ready to grab some slope and get balancy!

Climb past bolts and gear placements to a two-bolt anchor with slings and rings that are too flimsy for toproping. The rock is generally chossy and loose, but the climbing is interesting.

The majority of the climbing on this pitch is quite pleasant, with good holds and rests throughout. Most of the climb is 5.8-5.9 with two 5.10 cruxes: one at bolt # 6 and one at bolt #8.

This route is knd of spicy. It was put up on lead, so be prepared to run it out. The first 15 feet is a little dirty, but the rock is great from there on. It is spicy getting to the bolt if you are short like me. The crux is after the bolt. It is really fun, though....

Follow bolts up through the big roof then start pluggin' gear in the shallow, meandering crack on an otherwise clean face (very sustained).  Fight to protect the crux.

Stickclip the first bolt, unless this is comfortable terrain for you, then stem up the dihedral, and traverse right a couple moves. Then climb up through the initial bulge, and gain easier ground for a couple sequences. The main crux comes in moving through the second overhang of the next roof series and onto features above it. After executing the crux, climb up through some technical moves toward a left-facing dihedral that’s to your right and up through that to surmount another roof, which will deposit you onto the final, slabby stretch to the anchors. Above this stance is a massive, left-facing flake that begins from your right and diagonals leftward across the route: snatch this up, and take it to the chains. The difficulty of a couple of the crux moves are somewhat height-dependent and will feel anywhere from middle-11 to 11-plus once you’ve deciphered the beta. Enjoy!

This is a fun, beginner route with a very easy (5.1) start for the first 15 feet before the actual climbing begins. The crux is about 2/3's of the way up.  It is a fun warm-up climb.

Update from Dalton Johnson: there are three potential variations of this route beginning at the second mantel. I did them all on TR solo, so I do not know what the pro situation is like. No offense, but this route, with everything on, is no harder than a 5.7.

Var1: only use the fist crack, the middle crack on the right side of the dihedral, until the crack disappears. From there, move back onto the face and pull the roof moves. This variation makes the route 5.8 (potential pro: cams 1-4).

Var2: only use the face and left side arete. The arete will be overhanging and dirty for a little bit. Move to the arete once the face is a flat undercling. Move back to the face of the route for the last bolt. Then finish this route, 5.9+/10-.

Var3: only use the face and lieback within the dihedral! This make the route 5.9 and is a blast! If one could pull the face moves off only, I would like the beta. I do not think pro would change for this route.

and the large roof. It consists of face climbing past bolts to a crack that leads to the top.

Located on a prominent prow I like to call "The Flying Dutchman", 'Cape of Good Hope' ascends the left side of this feature. Easy and enjoyable climbing leads to a high 1st bolt. Continue upwards, following the bolt line or just right of the bolts. The crux presents itself around the 4th and 5th bolts with a puzzling transition up to the 6th bolt. After clipping the 6th bolt, head right to a nice crack and a good rest. From here, it's easier traditional climbing up cracks and blocks. There are some fun exit moves to get to a 2-bolt anchor with chains and quick-links.

This is a long and enjoyable outing with a tricky crux at about 1/3 height.  If it feels harder than 10a, you likely got the tricky sequence wrong.

Climb past a few bolts to reach a left-facing crack.  Follow the crack to a small roof/bulge.  The crack widens and leads through the steep section, then continue up the wall passing the occasional bolt supplemented with some gear.  There is a fixed chain anchor at the top.

This is the second route to the right of the large roof. It was done all on gear.

This is an enjoyable longer route that ends well on a slightly overhanging prow with good exposure.

Start with blocky step-ups, and follow bolt line through easier terrain on Lemon-like choss (bolts 1-2).

Stay right at 3rd bolt and out of crack

and vegetated corner

following positive holds into steeper, yet still fairly moderate terrain (bolts 4-6). Join a slightly overhanging arete or prow, and stay on the thing, finding the crux just above the roof (bolts 7-9). This has cool positioning up top with a Lemonesque sequence that gets easier the more you climb it.

This route is fresh, so expect a bit of dirt on the ledges for the next year or so. It has fairly decent rock, with the best of it on the top half of this longer pitch.

Climb a slab past some bolts to a roof, then through the crux on thin holds and continue up the face and arete to the top.

Climb compact granite clipping bolts to the roof.  Pull through the strenuous roof crux moves and now that you are well above your last bolt reach for your gear.  The climbing is easier (5.9 ish) and pretty much adequately protected.  Traverse slightly left and follow cracks to fixed anchor at top.

This is a good mix of physical and mental fun.
