A pleasant bouldery start climbs quickly to a crux near the 3rd bolt on a smooth section with small fingers and reaches. Pulling up to a thin ledge below the roof, a second crux at the 4th-5th bolt overhang, will let you use all of your big words between breaths, though a pretty good underpull finger crack will help you yell those words louder to your appreciative belayer. Lots of chalk dots lessens the mystery.

Like many routes at Hurd Creek, the first bolt is probably too low to protect, but the second bolt is easy to reach and at better height. Slopers and thin fingers greet the fourth and fifth bolts with a slight overhang. Unlike the route's name, it is now a pretty clean climb with some crunchy lichen in non-critical cracks. This is a good, fun challenge that feels at grade.

This is steep with boulder moves for first 2 bolts. It is still dirty. With more traffic, that should be better.

Climb a bouldery, hard start before the ledge after the 2nd bolt. The upper moves seem to all move up and left.

Climb a hard section at the 3rd bolt. Then there is another hard section at 5th bolt, big step up onto left hand sidepull. This is the best route on the lower wall.

Climb up and clip a high first bolt, then go up challenging moves to a

shared anchor with

Throw Up

(5.9).

This is a very nice route that's really cleaned up since it was documented in Shaw and Shaw (2nd). The crux is well-protected toward the top of the climb (small roof) by closely spaced bolts. Be wary of animal feces at the upper bolts.

This route is steep and overhanging for the first 2 bolts, but good stems make it not too hard. It is interrupted by a ledge between the 2nd and 3rd bolts.

Wolverine is steep and still slightly dirty as of July 2019. More traffic should remedy that problem. The crux is past the 3rd bolt. This route could be easier if you go left at the 3rd bolt.
