MRE starts with a hard pull into the crack followed by shallow stemming and pulling on pockets. The crack steepens and narrows down at the top then pulls over to the chains.

Wave Goodbye to the Omicron Wave

A thin, shallow seam is the start of this route. Slabby feet and insecure tips jams make it a stout 5.8. Watch out for exfoliating holds. It opens up into a handcrack for the upper part of the route.

Smear your way up into the large groove and use thin edges and pockets to get over the steep section. Once past the second bolt the route eases off and is mild to the chains.

Starts out tricky with few feet then immediately eases off to some gritty slab moves. The initial difficulty protects well.

Someone must have done this on TR, just to the right of MRE. Whether you could place gear, I'm unsure. But the movement is totally worth another fun cruiser.
