Going straight to the bolt requires attention but it could be approached from the left if you don't mind the cats claw tree. Decent route up the face with smearing and using the crack to the left.

This route is on the Southwest face (away from the road) and is pretty fun. A decent easy/moderate climb if in the area. Nothing spectacular...

Fun steep moves with ledgey rests. Slab crux up high going direct to the last bolt.

Follows obvious line of five bolts on the far left side of SW face of Hodgepodge Rock.

This climbs the face to the right of "Short Crack", past two bolts.

Done as an on-sight solo first ascent, this route climbs a clean chocolate brown (hence the name) patina face with no protection. The crux is a bit of smearing down low while higher nice edges appear that are a bit more secure. Perhaps best done as a toprope or treated as a highball boulder problem.

Pull up to the main face to find the "high" first bolt. After that follow the bolt line up. Pretty good for the grade and can't beat the easy approach.

Climb a crack to 1 or 2 bolts on a face (2 bolt anchor) This is on Hodgepodge Rock, South Face, up and right of the routes in the Guide.

This climbs the central crack system, starting left of "Short Crack".

Climb steep double cracks in a right facing corner near the right side of the wall.

this is a face route that is OK and as with the others on this formation not that spectacular. But worthwhile if in the area or just wanting to do a shorter face route for some reason. There are a few easy to moderates on this rock and one can bang them off in a heartbeat if "ticking" off routes...I would not go out of my way however....

this route is not really that much fun to do unless you plan on doing most if not all on this formation... it is short and uneventful. I rope soloed via TR on it today. After doing the actual route, go straight up for an additionl bit of fun. There is a walk up from the right of the formation that can be a bit tricky if you plan on TRing the route(s)... There are different sets of anchors that line the top... (It is becoming a rather OVERBOLTED formation lately)..it is easy enough to build your own anchors...

Start in a right-leaning crack/ramp, left of the start for
