Probably the most unique, wild, scary, and intimidating crack pitch in Arkansas. Start by working your way out of a short roof crack using crimps and good jams out over the lip to a "creative" rest. Then go to battle with a sequential-overhanging-flared finger/hand crack into a wider and steeper section of 5.10 crack climbing. Finish by either an undercling out a roof to the right (slightly easier) or do-the-thang and finish using the same steep 5.10 crack system to top out as a legend.

"The closest thing to a Yosemite bomb bay that Arkansas has to offer". Start from the belay first Glue-In belay station on the Calico Ledge about 40ft from Trash Shoot. Place a few cams from the ledge and fight your way through the exposure with jams and jugs until you can seek refuge in the chimney. "Continue out the bottomless feature to the lip and cruise easy wide-ness to the top-out."- Cole Fennel. 

Despite the namesake of this route, recent efforts have rid this wide-moderate free of beer cans and trash. Low angled and fully exposed, pull the first tricky out from underneath the crack onto the rock face 150ft over the river. Easy terrain with plenty of spots for placements take you to the very top of the over look. Build an anchor and either lower back down or belay up the 2nd from the top. 

Crimpy moves to a good rest on unique holds get you up the first sustained half of this stout route. Grab a rest at the base of the small roof to get you through a desperate crux, after pulling hard, better holds get you to the anchorsStick-clip the first high bolt.

A fun and techy 5.10+ slab climb positioned on the side of a cliff 150ft above the ground. Sounds like a great time right? Step up and left of the belay bolt to begin this balance act up a slightly less than vertical route with some good holds and closely spaced bolts. Recent efforts have cleaned this once covered in lichen route up. 

The WILDEST 5.12 in the state. This fully exposed double-overhanging Arete puts the climber upside down 150+ ft over the White River. Start by pulling off the edge and working your way up and out onto the Arete on good holds. Once you've reached the "thank god" incut crecent feature, prepare for thin difficult crimps up to good holds and a SPOOKY mantel. Stick Clip first bolt. Belayer should be anchored in on the belay bolt. TOP OUT un-tie and just walk away...your partner can just meet you at the car, your work here is done. You've won the Trophy 

This climb starts with a hanging traverse on a rail out pass the first bolt, from there pull out of the roof out onto the face to great holds up a ledge (No shame in taking a second to recover from the pump fest on the rest-ledge but BEWARE, getting back on route can be a challenge) From here figure your way out onto the face and figure your way through the crimp crux sequence to the anchors.Stick Clip the first bolt. 

This area holds the originally developed routes at City Rock and hosts probably THE MOST exposed climbing in the state. With a mix of wild sport climbs and mind numbing trad, City Rock Proper will deliver a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
