The first problem one sees upon entering the Hangout Area. Use a huge right hand sidepull and anything for your left. Make your way to the left leaning rail system and use it to gain the summit.

Pay respects to the braddah. A loose 30lb+ block of lighter rock directly overhead make this an eye opener. Pull down not out. Try and exit slightly right to save your spotter. Potential exists for a few more lines around the trail side of this boulder. Traversing variant to an easy mantle goes right from the start.

Spread 'em out on a right hand sidepull jug and a left hand ledge. Bumps up good holds lead to a heady topout on chossy holds.

Traverse in from the start of Kronk's Komet for an added pump. Used to have a direct sit start until holds broke, thus the "II".

are probably the oldest lines in the area.

Fun, a bit reachy, watch out for the cactus. Start left, low on the pockets, make your way up right to the obvious pockets. Committing final move to a big jug. Topout is super chossy so be careful.

The area classic. Usually started from a sit at a flat ledge on the lower side near where the two boulders meet. After moving up and left it can either hit the lip or stay low for a harder variation. A move to a hueco after a sloper ledge marks the end of the hard climbing and most mantle above the hueco.  Used to have way more holds on it under the large sloper until one day some fucking moron took a hammer to the rock (no joke).

Try one of these following variations, then make up your own:

-Doing a reversal of/starting on The Rat

-Finishing a FULL beer from ones chalk bag mid climb, a confirmed B0.

-Transfer over from the huge ledge on the low angle boulder to the right of the start of this bp. Very weird!

-Mike does an up problem under the sloper rail. It's pretty fucking hard.

-The Buddha Belly uses the low holds to the right and a sloper (the belly) to bust up to the lip.

Most trafficked route here and maybe the oldest? Have easily spent an hour playing around on this rock.

sit start and bump hands up along both sides of arete  (the bigger boulder on the right is off)

SDS to ENG II. Right hand low on a pinch and left out wide, flick to the undercling and stand up. Be precise now...

Backside of hangout boulder. Scruuunchy SDS on a sharp flake, throw to pockets, mantle above the prow. Sounds hollow and ready to explode every time I try it.

In the chimney between the two boulders. Get your feet on the top of the Rayl boulder and reach for solid jugs on the NJ face to topout. A good slickfoot.

Same start as kuzco, but go up and slightly left to the jug at the top.

Stand start with Left hand on the undercling and right hand in the lowest pocket. Go straight up and mantle

Traverse the Rayl Boulder left to right, back into Kuzco.

SDS on two crimps inside the bottom of the crack and pull into it with an awkward jam move. Strange sequence dependent jamming and stemming will lead you to the lip. Loose holds near the top, although they are easily avoided.

Start sitting on the uphill side of the boulder with your hands on a sweet wavy ledge. Fun sequencing to hidden holds allow access to the topout on the left. Starting on the left arete could be fun.

It's a tricky 2-3 move problem that starts real low on the Ninja Star boulder and goes up and to the right and finishes about halfway up the downclimb.

Traverse from right to left then go up a flake to the top. Looks like people are going straight up the face on the right (wicked!) Whatever you choose to climb it’s a fun but loose boulder. Have fun.

The right arete of the tall overhanging boulder between Emperor's New Groove II and Hangout boulder. Hard and dirty. Seldom worked. SDS to rocking over onto the slab.

Most of the top out holds seem to be sharp and then will

break

off in your hands...giving you your own ninja star.

SDS with both hands matched in the giant hole [small right boulder is off]. After a longish move to a jug, head straight up and hit two solid(ish) but fun crimps, then two pockets. Once you've got good feet, find a jug up top without pulling off one of the countless loose rocks.

Maybe a V0, maybe just a V1, not too sure especially since this is my first project up here. So yeah, some feedback would be much appreciated!

Begin up the slab on cool pockets and pretty good feet. Must down climb!

One move wonder. Start under the lip (underneath the the good jug on Karmic Daydreams), with a decent right hand sidepull and a low incut left crimp. Make one hard move to the lip and top out direct.

SDS with hands on the two crimps about halfway up the face, in the middle of the Hangout Traverse Route (shown in picture). From there, double bump up left to the 3 finger crimp and then to the small sloper just above it, change footing, then left bump again to the bigger sloper/jug above. Reach right to the crimp side-pull then top out.

An unfinished project up the wave on the face of Ninja Star boulder. Sit start in the good pocket and high crimp to a series of dead points to shallow pockets and small crimps. Ending with a miserable but deep mono dyno to fat incut pinch. Topout is the loosest garbage of all time. Rating is questionable, but it's hard. Someone send it.

Chossy lowball fun

Start doubled on the sloper pads far low and right of The Emperor's New Groove 2. Establish and go for a right hand crimp followed by bumping to a jug. After that work feet and finish up onto the slab (The Ninja Star/ Chimney boulder is off. Don’t dab!)

Start on obvious jug for right hand and good crimp, reach out right and figure out the rest

Start on the trail side of the Boulder and go up the broken crack.

There is another problem just to the left of The Broken Crack called Kool Aid Kid that starts almost in a SDS, it involves some high feet to a fun top out. Both climbs require a jump down off the top. Bring a weed wacker and a scrub brush, it hasn't seen an ascent in ages..
