, and if doing so use a full length runner on the 3rd bolt of this route (where it branches off) and a long draw on the 1st bolt of CYF to cut down on rope drag.

A thin start, which may seem harder for shorter climbers, quickly gains better holds, and then transitions left around the arete. The remainder of the climb involves fun climbing on positive holds over a bulge (crux), which deposits you onto a slab, and then another short section of balancy face before you turn another lip onto a slab and the anchors.

Interesting movement along this flared groove/seam that starts and finishes with open face climbing.

Moderate and highly enjoyable moves (5.9) up big edges, huecos and jugs lead up the featured face to the last bolt where you suddenly encounter the crux - a thin, viciously sharp edge you must crimp to get past this section.

This fun top rope is definitely worth doing.

Start up the face to the left of

using good side pulls, until the crux sequence gets you moving up and leftwards towards a far off jug.

Grasp the jug and continue direct, until a delicate move right allows betters holds to be reached that lead to the top.

The original line here that wanders up the face and at times utilizes holds from climbs on either side.

for three bolts (use a long sling on the 3rd bolt) and then move up and right onto the bulging face and climb increasingly difficult moves to a fingery crux encounter near the top as you decide how to use a key knob for progress.

Intricate movement on good rock that's probably best done in cooler weather lest it feel more difficult.

Climb the short, vertical face via edges and textured rock with a distinct crux moving past the first bolt.

The rating is for staying on the face the entire time - stemming back, especially at the crux, will make the climb easier.

Due to the position of the anchors it's best to rappel off as opposed to lowering.

Start off a small block and cast off up the lumpy face above. The crux comes early on as you reel in a small overlap/roof, but you'll need to fish around a little up higher to find the easiest line.

The rock on this route is a little on the rough side, but it does provide some excellent friction and makes those improbable moves a little more secure.

Good protection is available deep in the crack in the lower portion of the route and near the top but the middle portion, although easy, is largely unprotected unless bolts on the neighboring route are utilized.

This is the obvious left-slanting crack system on the left side of the west face; located between

Power Bait

on the left and

Rapala

on the right.

Easy moves at the start gain the crux a short ways up, after which the crack widens and becomes much easier; shares anchors with

Crappie Corner
