River's Edge Traverse

One of the best and most intimidating problems in little cottonwood.  Begin sitting with your right hand on a large right facing sidepull and left hand on a smaller left facing sidepull.  Climb up and left.  Finish with a desperate, terrifying mantel.

Start as for Shivers, but move right on the face and finish up Jim.

Start in the sloper scoop with a decent left hand sidepull and nice right hand sloper. Hit the upside down right hand pinch and press into the scoop. Funky.

Starts on two separate side pulls and moves up and to the left

A forgotten problem and a fun one to piece together. Start on the right side of the Riverside Arete (left hand on the arete) and traverse right through the sloper scoop, finishing on Boone's Problem. Very temp dependent.

Less of a slab than the name suggests, but does rely on a few committing friction moves.

Start on the two crimps just right of the moss and work up discovering that all those wonderful looking features from the bottom are sagging slopers.  One or two friction moves and top out.

This is listed as V3, but those crimps feel like jugs after climbing its V4 neighbor.

Start on the right side of the sloper scoop, fire up to a nice right hand pinch and mantle into the scoop. Highstep onto the slab and top out.

This thing is a monster of a problem. Climb the very slopey arete using some of that LCC slab tech. The crux comes right after getting over "the drip" when trying to get a high foot. The rock is perfect, probably best climbing in the cooler months of fall/winter.

VERY FUN PROBLEM

Stay right of the arete on slopey hands and dime-edged feet to attain the upper slab. Great technical problem.

Amazing slabbing on the Shivers boulder and one of the best v4s in the canyon.

Start in the middle of the shivers boulder opposite the river. Fresh rubber is a plus!

Start same as Jim but go straight to 12 o'clock instead of heading out left.

Thin moves with a little throw for the top

A right-to-left traverse of the slabby side of the boulder. Start on the right side of Riverside Arete, turn the corner, and traverse left, staying low. Higher is easier and also fun. Finish on Downclimb Corner.

Perfect footwork trainer, especially with how slippery it is.
