Find the anchor under a tree along the dirt path from the paved trail to the cliff top. Climb the path of least resistance up the low angled face to the anchor, bearing right when needed. A major diagonal crack is the main feature, partially filled with old tree roots. Ledges and other features offer plenty to work with for a beginning climber.

I'm sure it's been done before by bored folks like me, but I figured it deserves a name and a place on here because it's fun and alapocas needs more routes! One could argue it's just Hungry for Me with bad beta, but that would make the route sad so don't say that

#12 on Hartmans online Alapocus guide.  Just to the left of Chossy's Corner.  A stretch of almost non-existing crimps in all the wrong angles makes this a difficult short climb.

Named for the "cannon ball blast" that this route climbs through. Tough feet at the beginning (after easy slab) with a powerful crux for the grade. 

A former sport climb (rest in peace, homie). A short, crimpy, technical slab. Follow the two chopped bolts in the "groove" between two inward facing cuts in the rock. Balancey moves to a short crimpy crux followed by three possible finishes and counting... a dyno (most common way), some delicate foot moves and some features out to the left, and the static direct way with layback moves on bad crimps and bad feet. All three feel about the same difficulty to me but I'm 6ft so ymmv. More opinions on grade needed, I included the grade from the guide

Start on the middle ledge of the Main Wall, below the highly visible diagonal crack leading into the left corner of the roof block. Tiptoe up the starting slab, minding the lack of friction on the painted-over spraypaint - or bypassing it on either side. Go straight for the crack, or traverse up and right under the roof and back left from there. Wriggle and writhe through the roof notch and you're done.

An easy low angle slab climb. Good footwork practice.

 Excellent tiny feet and almost impossible hands make this a really fun climb / boulder problem... for delaware...

Climb the A-shaped face to the right of the obvious crack. Avoid the crack on the left, otherwise you'll be on Hungry for Me (5.5). There is a very easy pinch at the top of the A. Use this to "top out".

 Wasn't sure what to grade this as it's technical for the area but super secure. Could be anywhere from 5.6 to 5.8 depending on who you ask.

The natural warmup boulder traverse a foot above ground level, on the vertical face between Arena Arete and Chossy's Corner. It's on par with, or a hair harder than, Arena Arete. Move delicately between little flakes at various heights and angles, a good drill for face climbing.

Tallest stretch of vertical rock at Alapocus.  Crux is in the middle traversing from right to left before ascending to the top.  From the bottom you can work your way up the sloping ledge or try to scale straight up using the holds on the bore-hole.   Once on the right ledge it's a precarious balancing act and doing the splits to reach the left side and palm the minimal slopers to work your way left.

#10 in Hartmans online Alapocus guide.  Can set top rope anchor from the anchors for Chipper or Spanky, but may need to use a directional off the large iron eyelet.  Alternately, scramble up the slab to the top of the ledge and set an anchor directly in the iron eyelet and use a directional from the Rambo anchors.

 This route may not be tall, but it makes up for it in quality and variety.  Some classic arete side pull moves at the cart, food placement just where you need them, and sweet easy dyno (or reach if your tall) to get to the top ledge and pull up.  Although not terribly difficult, might be the funnest route at Alapocus.

Climb the short, chossy, far right bottom corner of the Alapocas main wall. The crux is the final move.

The route's dichotomy is between the slabby footwork of the lower half, and the vertical handwork of the upper half (where the crux can be found).
