Unnamed Route

Typical thin moves on granite gives way to nice cracks.  Trend slightly right to clip the shared piton of Unnamed Route to the top.

A short chimney leads to a stiff short hand and fist crack. Originally named "No guts No Glory because of Dana's A.0 move(s).

Sharp, thin, and delicate moves may get you to the arete.  Limited handholds and crummy feet make this a tough climb, it eases up a lot after the third bolt.  The fourth bolt and piton are shared with the route I Just Wanna Be In The Guidebook.

Climb short wide crack to nice stance and clip bolt.  Upwards yields junky rock but decent protection.  Traverse right to second bolt (crux) and upwards to piton and top of climb.  *A large horn-like feature came off on lead and resulted in a nice fall.  The route is safer now but contains some crumbly granite.

A little bit more difficult than it looks but climbs nicely and has adequate protection.  A nice warmup for the more difficult routes in Cactus Flower West area.

A west facing variant to Cactus Flower east, yet holds the namesake of the area.
