START - About 30-40 ft from where the approach trail meets the cliff, Below the obvious left-facing corner/flake that is about 20 ft up. [photo] 

  P1 - Climb up to the corner/flake, step left at the top (bolt seems to have replaced the old pin) and up to the large pine tree ledge. Move up the slab on the right (bolt) to the right-leaning crack. Up this (crux maybe 5.7+?, bolt, optional nut placements) to the top.  Belay off trees.  100 ft  5.7 / 5.7+

Start a few feet right of the large blocks of "The Trunk" and climb up to a right-leaning flake.  Up the flake, step left at its top. Make interesting foot moves left (bolt) and up to a ledge.  Move right on the obvious crack (piton, nut or TCU a foot beyond) then up at the end (May be the crux for shorter climbers) and left to a good ledge.      Perplexing moves past 2 bolts (crux...5.9+?) lead to the anchors.  80-90 ft  5.9 / 5.9+? Final move may also be crux for shorter climbers.

START- 30-40 ft right of The Flake, just before where the base starts to rise into a gully/corner. There are two climbs that start here: "Mica Slab" (5.10d) which moves left; and Moose's Leap which moves right on a line of horizontal jugs.  

  P1 - Climb up 15 ft to the horizontals, move right around the shallow bulge ( shorter climbers may find this the crux??) and then follow the line of bolts upwards. (total of 7 B's)      I, personally, found the crux to be up where a dike-like, horizontal intrusion made for a great handhold(s); but others found an easier way to do this and felt it was "5.7" ! I thought the sequence I used was 5.9+ / 5.10a.

Furthest left on the "front wall" of Family Crag. Scramble up large blocks, pass a 4" diameter birch tree good spot to belay)  and then climb the cracks and flakes just right of the arete, to the top. 80-90 ft, 5.5-5.6 Anchors for "Moose Du Jour" are to your right.

There are at least 3 climbs on the wall left of "The Trunk's" arete: (L to R)    Two Trees Crack (5.9 trad)   Spillway (5.10b, sport, 7 bolts)    Runnel  (5.8 Trad)

There are four routes located to the right of Bubblecuffer.  The usual approach is to walk right of Bubblecuffer about 30-40 ft, then cut back left-and-up to a dirt ledge.  1) Justin's Ascent 5.9 climbs the face to an anchor.  The climb is left of the large, wide, dirty corner crack (This climb MAY(?) actually start on the far right of the main slab and then traverse onto the face.) 2) Coyote Crack 5.7 -  the large, wide, dirty crack in the corner  3) Bullwinkle 5.8 - Climbs a corner in the left wall of the Arete to an overhang (2 Bolts), then finishes on the arete.  4) Schools Out  5.2 - Climb the arete past 2 bolts to the old tree anchor.  [NOTE: This climb currently (2018) seems to be mis-named as Bullwinkle.

An extremely easy and moderate outing. At the extreme right end of the Family Wall there is an obvious low angle slab that will take you to the top. Awhile ago someone slapped some bolts in to give an extra sense of security.  

  Fun to blast up to the top, with a good view, though not especially recommended.

A superb short climb.  

  This awesome climb is the right most bolted line at the Family wall, working it's way up a slight overhang then topping out at some trees.

This route was named after a Moose's bones were found at the base of it. At times the run outs may make you feel like you're about to join the moose. 

  There are only 3 bolts the whole way, and the rare spot for a very creative trad gear placement, making the climbing of this route a hair raising adventure for those that dislike runouts.

The first cliff you come to at Shell Pond when you're following the trail. Climbs are all about a pitch, and range from easy 5.2s to 5.12s. Most are fairly well protected but some are extremely run out. There's a wonderful open bluff at the top of the cliff with a great view of the pond. 

  The Family Wall is an 80' steep slab with routes 5.5-5.11 trad and sport. A 60 meter rope will work for top-roping off the cliff's top trees. Descent is a trail on climbers left. Due to low visitor use, some routes could use a wire brush.
