to the ledge. Step right, and engage the steep roof for 4 bolts. The crux revolves around a hard deadpoint to a finger bucket right at the end of the roof. Easier face climbing after the roof gets you to the anchor.

This is a Sheep Mountain classic! Head up the open book, and engage the pumpy overhangs. Traverse right to the arete, and follow that through a couple small overlaps to the anchors. An optional green Alien can be placed along the way.

Crack of Lamb goes up the obvious roof crack on the right side of the wall. Climb up to the intimidating roof, and figure out a way past it. An engaging trad crack leads to a set of anchors.

Between the Sheeps

. There are a couple crux sections ending in a gear protected corner that ends in the shared anchors with the route to the right.

This is another McCorkel gem. Start in finger crack in a dihredal, then battle up a slightly obtuse dihedral system with stemming, palming, and arete moves for a long pitch. A 2 foot sling on the first bolt helps with rope drag.

Try not to get McCorkel'ed....

This is a fun, techy face.

Climb progressively more difficult terrain to a techy crux just before the ledge. Continue up the dihedral to anchors. The crux can be avoided by moving right to the arete.

Climb dubious rock to an undercling crux, then go up the left side of the arete to the anchors.

Book of Sheep is a grungy corner that climbs better than it looks. Clip a low bolt, and move through a crack in the corner until the crack fizzles out. 3 more bolts protect the last bit to the anchors.

This route has it all, a finger crack, liebacking, steep technical climbing, a pumpy traverse, hero jugs, and technical corner climbing.

Start up a moderate 5.10 finger crack with good trad protection. Pass a slightly chossy band and clip the first bolt. Some committing liebacks lead to the steep crux with good hands but poor feet. After the crux, traverse slightly right then back left to some great jugs on the arete. Finish on a tight, technical corner with small holds (5.11d).

Hoof in the Grave is pretty tough and sustained. It is easily identified by the massive, detached section of cliff about halfway up the climb...don’t worry, it's not going anywhere.

P1. Climb a clean face to a crux bulge at bolt 3/4. Angle right after the bulge, and face climb to a finger crack. Follow that to its end, and angle left to the anchors. These anchors are shared with Nanny State (use a 70m rope for the lower?).

P2. A single bolt protects the 5.8 move above the anchors. Place some cams, and run it out to the anchors (5.5).

Both pitches can be linked easily. Add an extra 0.75 cam which protects getting to the last bolt.

A tricky start leads to an easier section before the crux techy face at the top. Climb the second bolt line on the right wall of the dihedral to easier climbing in a dihedral. Move right out of the dihedral and up the crux face to anchors.

Start up the lower face of

Bostock From Little Bird

, then branch left in the leaning corner system (gear) until you reach the bolted upper headwall. This is listed as 5.11a in the guidebook with the crack being the crux. I thought the lower face was solid 5.11 while the crack was 5.10d/5.11a.  It is a full value pitch that will stretch your 70m rope. Watch the ends of your rope!

Nice 5.10 face climbing leads to a slanting finger crack (gear). Continue up past more bolts and good climbing.

P1. Start up a vertical wall with good holds to the roof crux, which is a little awkward. Continue up some fun face climbing to an anchor on the right.

P2. The second 5.7 pitch is engaging for the grade and climbs through a couple roofs. Small cams can be placed between the bolts. Belay at a rap anchor at the top of the wall.

With ~20 draws/slings, you can link both pitches.

Start up some flaky rock to a steep crux section along the arete. The rest of the route is off vertical, technical, face climbing.

A 60m rope barely gets you to the ground.

NOTE: the route names for "Bostock From Little Bird" and "Till We Have Faces" were switched by accident in the guidebook.

Start on steep crumbly rock in a corner. After a low crux, the climbing eases to the anchors.

Climb the dihedral behind the big boulder, then step right to a big ledge. Climb the crux face above, then go up easier terrain to the anchors.

P1. Head up the slab behind the large boulder on the right side of the wall. Engage the

steep

overhang with good jugs to an anchor above the lip.

P2. A gear protected second pitch goes to a second anchor at 5.7.

. Start with a tricky bolted section requiring some creative stemming, and then work into a finger crack that splits the top part of the dihedral.

This is another Sheep classic.... Start up the beautiful, brown patina face with 2 obvious bolts. Place a critical #1 cam at the break, and join the corner system until you can traverse right to the next bolt. Thin edging leads to the crux section (bolts 5/6). Tiptoe up to the good undercling, and figure out a way past the next moves. A couple more bolts leads to an anchor at 35m.

The hard parts are well-protected with bolts, but you might be running it out on easier terrain. Consider using a "locker" draw on bolt 3.

Climb a low, steep crux, then tackle another bulge before hitting the anchor.

Climb dubious rock to a crux bulge, then go up the arete to the anchors.

Start up a steep wall with a couple funky choss nuggets. Join the arete with nice rock and moves. After reaching the ledge, you can either lower or continue through a so-so bulge at 5.10b.

Start up the 5.7 dihedral (bolt), and continue up until you can step left in a thin crack. Follow a crack through bulge with 2 bolts. Stop at a lower anchor or continue to the upper anchor.

Nice face climbing leads to the roof. Turn the roof on the right, and head to the anchors.
