Originally a trad line, now bolted because no one brings gear to the Emeralds. Fun, easy climbing.

Yet another moderate at slide wall. Brand new - expect lichen until it cleans up.

Climbs an enjoyable series of jugs linked by a discontinuous crack. Surprisingly good holds and surprisingly good gear. Interesting dikes and horizontal placements make this a unique climb for the area. Worth the trip to Slide wall. If you didn't being trad gear you can easily top rope this after climbing Integral (shared anchor). If you're in the neighborhood, this fun moderate is not to be missed.

Another fun moderate. Brand new so be prepared for dirt and potential loose rocks.

Starts in the obvious fracture between Iris and Name of the Wind.  Follow the weakness up to the large left facing flake. Move left and up using holds on the main wall until you can step back over right to the top of the flake. Beware some loose rocks here and move carefully as the flake seems well attached on the right side but it is unclear if the left is also that way. Continue to follow the fracture straight up until it joins the crack at the top of Name. Resist clipping the bolts here as the short finger and hand crack takes beautiful cams and jams. Same hook anchor as Name.  Good gear and lots of stances.

Before anyone gets their panty's in a bunch, the name of this route is geared toward all the city folk trashing our watershed this summer (2020). I'm not hating on all you bay area climbers. For the most part my interactions with bay area climbers are pleasant, polite, and downright enjoyable. I like you guys, stay gold.

A thin start leads to fun climbing on large holds. The direct start feels a bit harder for some  (two moves of maybe 9 or 10- right off the deck) but can be easily bypassed by traversing into the first bolt via jugs to the right of the bolt line.

This wall and its anchor were originally top roped by Mike Carville and Josh Horniak many years ago and bolted with their permission.

Start on the bottom right of the Slide Wall. Get right into some fairly challenging moves through the first 3 bolts on the face with small crimps (

staying out of the dirty corner

). Reach a ledge and step left to pull the bulge. The next 4 bolts prove to be fairly consistently difficult all the way to the top.

Note: The climb is still a little licheny but per the usual the more traffic the better.

"Remember you must die" (Latin translation). This route presents far more of a mental challenge than the easier climbs to it's left, and is more akin to Drowning Machine (it's neighbor to the right). While being technically quite moderate at 5.10a, this route feels more committing and heady. Recommended for confident 5.10- leaders.

I'm giving this a PG-13 rating based on the rather precariously stacked pile of massive blocks which marks the beginning of the route. I extensively jumped around on said rock pile, they seem fine, but they are spooky. I recommend you take a nice long look at this stack before saying, "yea, this is a good idea". It's not the worst idea to have your belayer stand back a ways while you climb to the first bolt, just in case.

First bolt is about 20 feet high after climbing low 5th class rock stacks. Follow 5 more bolts with some committing moves through varied terrain to mussy hook anchors.
