Just down the slope from Barrel Ridge towards the road lie these boulders.  You can see them if you drive slowly past the ridge and look up and right.  Dismissed by some as choss, the larger boulder is, in fact, choss.  Melinhead climbs the slightly overhanging corner closest to the ridgeline using edges and sandy sidepulls on the big boulder.  A committing final move leads to the mossy topout.  Another line could go up the overhanging face on the ledges but would be somewhat scary.

Maybe 15-16 feet tall?  Hard to tell since there was 2 feet of snow on the ground.  The overhanging face has some slopey ledges but I couldn't tell with all the frost on it if it was chossy or if there were any other features.  I presume it's been checked out before, it's not far out of the way.

Start on good jug and hike right foot high, throw for the goods on the lip.

Climb up face just right of Melinhead. Easy and a bit dirty.

Melincholy is actually pretty fun on good rock.  Start low and right on the smaller of the 2 Melin Boulders.  Use good holds and edges, a nice hidden jug underneath for your left hand, and traverse left to the corner and up with edges and a cool round iron knob.  Kinda mossy but brushes easily, so bring one.

Start low on slopers near right corner of boulder, just right of melincholy, and work your way up and left through good holds.

Starting with left hand on the flake and right side-pull in crack work your way up tricky face avoiding the left corner to a heady top-out.

Two boulders a hundred yards south of the road just past (east of) the normal spot you park and walk up to Barrel Ridge. A handful of decent lines and worth the effort if you've done the stuff you can do on the Ridge proper.(Sorted L to R as you are facing the road.)
