This is the third bolted line in the entrance meadow. Thin crimps lead to a deadpoint followed eventually to some easier gear climbing on krispy rock.

Idaho Crack

Look for two camouflaged bolts in a row down low. Cool layback move gets you to a thin horizontal seam. Plug a few tiny cams here or don't. Move up to the next stance and the first bolt. Tricky slab moves to the second bolt and the crux. Make moves just right of the second bolt to a horizontal and #1 placement. Keep moving up to the big break and get larger piece here. Move right, then up past some more finger to medium sized gear. Easy runout in the middle gets you to the last bolt. Paddle your way to the ledge and the anchor to the left shared with EVOlution. 

Kinda tricky to get off the ground but then you find 20ft of 5.2 climbing until you hit the giant lie back slot, crank up the feet onto the wall and push through the 5.5 lie back its simple! watch your head as you exit onto the small ledge!   Would make a great first trad lead.Can set a TR anchor from trees at the back of this slab does NOT need anchors.Quite a few people use this as a highball warmup, walk off to climber's right back to main trail.When you are done warming up on this, turn around and do some problems on the Wooly Warm up boulder, opposite side of the trail.

You guessed it! The second bolted line in the entrance meadow.  Crux is getting to and past the first bolt.  Second bolt is kind of cruxy too.  The name is in honor of a lovely bald eagle that gave us a low, slow, fly by that day.  She probably was not used to humans being on her wall.

An enjoyable easy slab with a tricky start.  A few cruxes with some Tom foolery in between.Pitch 1 - Cruxy start through two bolts to a big, flat ledge.  Follow the path of least resistance through a notch and a couple of step-ups with good gear. Pull onto the face below the bolt following fun side pulls on a chill slab.  Ends on a perfect belay ledge.  5.7, 4 bolts, 115'Pitch 2 - Head straight up from the belay through easy slab with a bolt and limited gear.  5.3, 1 bolt, 110'Pitch 3 - A short pitch with fun climbing and a fantastic view at the top.  Easy to link with pitch 2 if climbing with doubles.  5.4, 1 bolt, 40' Rap chains at each belay.Rap with a 70 meter (ideal) or doubles.  It is possible to rap with a single 60 meter, but you'll find yourself on the pitch 1 big ledge having to invent a way off.

This is one of the first routes you come to if coming up the fantastic new CCC trail. Bolt 1 is 8feet off the ground below a small roof. Step through a small roof then step right for gear. Go up and left to anchor shared with Lady Haliaeetus.

Does it look like Montana?  Well... sort of... not really.  But it is next to Idaho.  Climb the obvious flake on fun, juggy holds.  

The wackiest of moves, slabby feets, hand jammers, a messed up lieback start, an upper corner hard as nails.p1: 5.10-  a strange lieback with thumb catch allows you to fire at the jug and establishes you in a body size "V" plug some small gear in the roof continue up left on hand jams, launch into the vertical and pull through some bulges, you will find rap rings that double as an anchor in addition to gear, this allows top rappel,  a clean bail after p1 and the reduction of rope drag, you will only find tree rap stations up top. p2: 5.11 journey right a few feet and into the nails crack, again small gear is your friend, a couple hard moves, fight the holy tree and bust up and left, several variations for topping this out easy options exist, but originally went far left to large pine tree rap station.

Negotiate some thin slab moves to reach the first bolt.  Climb pass the second bolt and pull over the overlap.  A couple more thin moves lead to the third bolt.  Continue up the face past a second horizontal crack with gear (sling it) and one more bolt.  A bit of thinking will get you to the anchors at the top of the wall.  

Classic face climbing on clean rock. Has a tendency to seep, but often dries out later in the day or if it hasn't rained in a few days. There is a bit of gear trickery to make this safe. Tape a black tricam all the way down the sling so it will be stiff leaving a small opening so a carabiner can be clipped, EVO tricams make this easier, thus the route name. If you are shorter than 5'9", you may have to clip a small stick to the tricam to gain a few inches of reach.Start below two overlaps. Move up the ramp to the thin face and traverse up and right to the first overlap. Get a good stance and finger sized piece here. Pull the overlap to another recessed stance. Use your taped evo to reach the next gear placement under the overlap. Push the tricam up into the hold an pull down and viola, bomber tricam placement. Make thin moves to get to the first bolt and pull the funky bulge, fun! Follow the ski track up and left, then back right to the huge horizontal that takes gear. Keep moving right on the horizontal until you can get to the next crack that goes up and left. Move out of the cracks and back onto the face past two more bolts. Two small finger sized pieces protect the last steep moves before the anchors. Move right on the ledge to the anchor shared with Cat and Mouse.

Take a break from the typical slab.  One of two routes formed by a detached flake.  A short fist crack with some excellent jams; bummer it's so short.

Where the lovely new CCC Trail hits the rock, scramble left and up for another minute or two until you discover yourself immersed in an idyllic clearing amidst the piles of charred forest fire carnage. The backdrop is a slab sparsely peppered with bolts.
