The supposed "offwidth" in the Bigfoot guide. Begins as Original Sin, but veers left up to a ledge, then up a hand crack to chimney.

I discovered a falcon's nest when pulling onto the ledge. Too run out to comfortably down climb, I quickly continued to the top and got out of there. So I guess now we know there's a nest up there. It would be a good climb during the times the falcons are not present. I don't know what the nesting times are, but I would highly recommend steering clear of the nearby routes until an appropriate time.

Bullet rock on a just under-vertical wall. Start on sustained 5.11 climbing with shallow dishes and sidepulls. About halfway up the holds, and particularly the feet, disappear. The crux section is about 20' long and moves through bad gastons, tiny crimps, and smeary footholds. Finish on slightly overhanging 5.11 jugs.

I installed anchors, scrubbed holds, and marked bolt placements, but realized the route was far beyond my abilities. Somebody bolt this thing, it's a killer line! You can reach the anchors by lowering off Law-son through the scrubby-looking tree. Probably be 10-11 bolts long.

Watch the start, crux down low, delicate feet and powerful Gaston off the ground.  Solid rock with some intricate slab moves through the middle section.  Steeper cracks towards the top to a fun, exposed finish.

Start on "Flesh Gordon"...optional #2 camalot, or run it out on 5.9 jugs to the first bolt. Instead of heading right, climb straight up and then left on big holds to meet up with the top part of "Original Sin".

Link-up of "Dirty Harry" into "Hagakure".  Clip the first three bolts shared by "Dirty Harry" and "Top Of The World, Ma", then hang a left.  Continue trending left through 5 bolts of thoughtful, technical slab, but instead of heading further left for "Dirty Harry", bust straight up the steep headwall of "Hagakure".

Mixed route...first half is gear, second half is bolted.  Gear section is mellow with big holds but fiddly gear.  Bolted section is steep with big moves between big holds.  Book calls it .10b, more like 10+/11-.  Definitely harder than the ".11a" arete to the left.

Long route to the right of Original Sin.  Gear-protected but relatively easy for the first 20', place a couple pieces or just run it out.  Nice mid-.10 climbing to a slabby crux about 3/4 of the way up.  Route could use a scrubbing.

Fun alternate start to Up On Top. Climb a frictioned runnel a few feet right of the arete. You can place a few small/medium cams 22' off the deck. When its clear you won't be getting any pro for another 15', move left to clip a bolt (clip it long), and continue up the arete. The route then merges with Up On Top.

You can easily skip the rest of the bolts after the crux bolt and continue on gear. We then topped out to a gear anchor and walked off. Continuing on gear is a good option for anyone wanting to work on their gear leads.

Crux towards the middle of the route.  Great rock except some loose stuff at the top which is easy to avoid.  Nice exposure on the arete, fun moves.

Just under-vertical, clean slab climbing.  Crux is a big reach and smeary feet between the 4th and 5th bolts.  Sustained .11+/.12- climbing to anchors.

Killer technical climbing on immaculate stone. The first crux comes right off the bat, pulling through smalls crimps and scoops to a good undercling. The difficulties ease off slightly for a few bolts, with the second crux coming at about mid-height on poor gastons and sidepulls with terrible feet. Finish up the steeper headwall, with a final power crux moving past a small crimp rail. Full on pretty much start to finish.

Ultra-classic route that is excellent, every move from the ground to the top. Steep climbing past three bolts leads to technical slab perfection. The first crux involves a delicate traverse right to a no-hands rest. The second crux comes a 10 feet later as you zig-zag back to the left on a molar-sized crimp and poor feet. The climb continues up the very blunted arete and on to a steep headwall with big, but tough to identify holds. (clip bolts long to reduce drag).

This route is an absolute classic, and is pretty crazy it had been forgotten for so long. Huge thanks to the Sic Nabo for breathing life back into this epic climb and inspiring us to get on it!!
