Start in an alcove and pull past the first few bolts on huge jugs.  The next section involves a series of side-pulls and gastons while traversing right to a jug.  Latch the jug and work your way up a bit more before traversing back to the left on steep jugs and over a shallow roof.  The last couple of moves are a fun romp on huge holds.

Pockets and edges through huecos and the dubious daylight thread on this rarely done climb.

Nice edges and crimps to defined crux at mid height.

Joe 6-Pack shares first two or three bolts with red neck! one of the best routes for the grade anywhere!! stellar rock lots'o climbing and killer movement make up this gem.. watch out for the thumb move at about 80ft. truly amazing!

Small edges, sidepulls, and shallow pockets up near and less than vertical rock.

This is a bolted project in between Horse Latitudes and Joe Six Pack.  A tattered Red Tag existed on the first bolt for many years. Little is known about this uncleaned line.  The difficulty of this route is unknown, it could be 5.10 or 5.15?

The extension to Hype turns an OK route into a great route with interesting stemming and liebacks. Instead of clipping that route's anchors, clip a draw out right, execute cruxy moves, and continue up a ramp feature to an anchor near Wowser's finish. Good stuff.

This right trending extension off of Dirt Cowboy is not to be missed. At the anchors of Dirt Cowboy, continue past long moves and head right at the second bolt to the mono thread.  Reachy pulls between edges, pockets, flakes, and mini tufa pinches gains a small "jug" rail at the last bolt.  Deliberate 5.12 climbing through the engaging runout to the anchors concludes this absolutely brilliant climb.

This link up starts with the first two thirds of Joe Six Pack, at the break, head up and right to link into the finishing headwall of Horse Latitudes.

An ever so slightly harder version of Horse.  This route begins with Dirt Cowboy, after the anchors of Dirt, continue up one more bolt and then head left at the "Bone Crusher" pocket sequence.  Long deadpoints between marginal holds typify the sustained crux on this route. 5.12 climbing finishes out the remaining headwall climbing.

A resume tick for those capable of the grade.  This excellent route tackles the center of the P.E. wall. Begin with long pulls between pockets and good holds.  A long pull to a mono signals the start of the hard climbing. Tenuous VRG slab moves lead up to a rest before the sustained boulder problem crux at half height.  Technical 5.12 climbing finishes out the last few bolts of this test-piece.

A great technical route that exemplifies the finest vert climbing the VRG has to offer.  Begin with an exhilarating opening boulder problem to gain the large thread hueco.  Delicate climbing through the pod gains the small roof and headwall above. Beautiful edges and pockets lead up to the thin and precise slab crux guarding the fixed anchors

From the chains of Dirt Cowboy, traverse far right through sidepulls and crimps through the large obtuse scoop right of Captain Fantastic. Rarely done.

The Planet Earth Wall borders the Mentor Cave on the left.  Consistently overhanging and long with a low roof band.  Home to Joe Six Pack (13a), Captain Fantastic (13c), and Horse Latitudes and Planet Earth, both 14a.
