The route begins approximately 15 feet to the left of

Lunch Money

(just right of

Cheap Labor

).  Easy climbing leads up the face below a short roof.  Continue through the flaky/juggy roof and past a few ledges to the base of a clean headwall.  Interesting, body positioning moves through the headwall will take you to the anchor.

The climbing to the base of the headwall follows the natural weakness in this area of the cliff.  The route continues straight through the headwall to create a crux finish.

This climb is on the Lower Capitalist area between

Lunchmoney

and

Mounty

. The first two bolts are obvious at a bulge 15 feet above the main ledge. Place the bomber #7 stopper at the back of the small ledge just above the second bolt and place the yellow Alien just before the fourth bolt. Similar to

Lunchmoney

but with slightly harder and shorter cruxes.

. Climb a couple of devious slab moves reach a left traversing big flake.  Easy climbing to steep and positive face climbing close to the left arete.  One can TR

from these anchors*. Lower about 100' back to the ledge.

Also can continue up and right to the top of Aries anchors to access the Contra ledge.  #1 Camalot may be nice to make this transition.

EDIT: Start about 30 feet left of

Lunchmoney

along the ledge system.  Climb the crack system that trends right and then up the jagged, left-facing flake.  At the top of the flake, the angle eases and a few slabby moves, protected by pin, lead to a loose ledge.  Continue up the left side of the dihedral (5.6) to anchors of

Vitamin-N

or

Aries

, 100 feet.

This is a pretty decent route as far as moderate Clear Creek trad climbs go.

Start at the base of

High Tides

, in the crack to the right.

Take the large flake out for a traverse right to the next vertical crack. Shimmy up that crack (this is the crux!), and then top out/walk off for a cruiser finish. There is a belay bolt near the top you can use to help build an anchor.

The top is a bit moss covered. This is a fun route to rebuild your ego if you keep getting shut down on

High Tides

with black hangers that has not apparently been submitted as a route to the database.  Thought it was

until I looked at the rock photo.  It is fun & challenging for us overweight, middle-aged climbers with high weight-to-strength ratios.

(then traverse righjt) or up the exposed, loose ledge past

Start up with 2 pockets and pop up to a ledge.  Find a reachy start off the big ledge.  Fire up a stretch of small holds & a more-strenuous-than-it-looks section to a long reach off slippery footholds to a thank-goodness hold.  Finish in a small pod with a 2 bolt anchor with links/chains.  Closely bolted, thanks.  Rap.

Aries starts between

Mounty

and

Cheap Labor

at the Lower Capitalist area.  Start from the ledge, opening with a devious, right leaning rail past the first 2 bolts to a bulge.  A few thin moves past the 4th bolt (5.10) gets you exciting climbing just right of the Mounty flake.

Beeline to the shallow, stemming dihedral underneath the anchors.

Contra is located on an upper steep head wall above

Lunchmoney

.  The climb is about 50 feet in length. Same approach as

Lunchmoney

.

Three options for the approach: 1) climb

Lunchmoney

and continue above chains through loose fifth class about forty feet to big ramp. 2) Traverse ledge system at the base of

Lunchmoney

to the south and hike up the first easy ramp to the top. 3) climb

Mounty

(5.7 trad) to ramp.

The name was inspired by the chorus of "Scar Tissue" by the RHCP. Start down and left from the other routes on a small ledge with an anchor bolt. Go up an easy slab to a thin dihedral that hosts the first bolt. More face climbing leads to a couple technical sections, and then trend right to the anchors.

Approach as for Upper Capitalist, but instead of going uphill to the crag, go down the broken hill to the southeast. Lunchmoney is located roughly hundred yards upstream from Upper Capitalist Crag. The chains are obvious from this point. There is a belay bolt on the ledge at the start of the climb. Climb up the steep face, pull through weakness in the roof to easy ledge system. The last three clips on the upper wall is the crux on a beautiful smooth flake.

Route just left of

Stroh's

.  Stroh's Lite is worth doing once while you are up there to climb [105758730]].  Maybe 1/2 star by itself.  Starts straight up on jugs, thin traverse left, with a steep crimpy and reachy crux.  The finger pocket before the crux is completely natural. 5.11+ rating may be sandbagged.

This route starts to the left of the approach ramp for

, and climbs through some broken choss for many clips (EDIT: 5.7), passes the

Stroh's

approach ledges, and finishes on the north arete to the right of

Stroh's

. Lower 100'(?) to the ground.

The last 15' were entertaining, where you finally get to quality stone (5.8-5.9). Be careful of loose rock.

Approach as for Capitalist, but do not start up the hill nor descend to

Lunchmoney

.  There is ledge system trending left for 100 feet.  Stroh's starts from big boulder on ledge. The anchors of '

Lunchmoney

' top out on this ledge system to the south. Consider belay anchors on the exposed ledge (TCUs / medium nuts / boulder thread).
