The route starts up a left-trending groove with a typical chossy start. Stickclip the 2nd bolt. The rock improves as you climb past some finger pods up to a stance above a flaky band. Maneuver up and left into fun corners with tricky footwork.

Find a good rest below the final crux section. Flakes and techy feet get you to a bit of a dynamic throw to a big rail. From the rail, work up and right to the a stance, and clip the anchor.

Fairly sustained and engaging climbing make this route seem a bit longer than 90 feet.

. Climb past 5 bolts, then go right for a few bolts finishing in the

Nothing Comes Between Me and My Calvins

corner.

The route starts just left of Calvins, the first 3 hangers on Mexican Radio are brown. Trend up and left and after clipping the 4th and 5th bolt, step over a small roof, clip a fixed draw, and onto a beautiful plaque of stone.   Several more bolts protect you through a variety of fun holds to the anchor.

Start a bit right of

Sand People Cometh

on dark rock. Balance through 5.10 climbing to reach a stance below an orange plaque of rock. From here, continue upward on fun crimps and edges to a mid-anchor (11c).

Move past the sub-anchor, and pull a 12a move to reach a nice crack/corner that takes you to the anchor.

After some approach climbing, “La Obsesion“ climbs a bullet plaque of gently overhanging orange and grey rock. This route has a hard boulder problem on crimps and pinches mid pitch. It finishes with a unique tech power corner section. Cold temps and thick skin help with this rig.

Climb past the 3 bolts with one tricky section, then move up left to a pod with a hidden cactus. Climb through some fun pockets and sidepulls to the anchor.

Find a line of bolts 20 feet right of

Swagga

. This is Sand People Cometh. Choss manuevering gets you to a long chain draw and then a nice rest. Engaging climbing all the way to the anchor ensues.

This has really good climbing with a variety of techniques needed to send.

Swagga Like Us starts about 60 feet uphill from

Nothing Comes Between Me and My Calvins

. Be the boss of the choss for the first couple of bolts as you move up and left towards a long chain draw. Continue onward on the left line of bolts through great stone to the anchor.

This is the first route completed at the Burro Wall.

Climb past 3 bolts with techy and tricky climbing to a stance. Move off the stance and up fantastic rock with fun moves. Finish in a nice corner high above.

“I know this much is true...”, this is a good 5.11 addition to the Burro. It is a bit harder than Calvin’s and a touch easier than

Cross through the bottom choss band on big holds that lead to a leftward series of moves through pockets. Climb up to below a steeper, left-facing corner. Move up and over the overlap into a short, right-facing corner to a variety of finishing holds and the anchor.

Good rests and positive holds are found on this pitch.

“ to its 7th bolt. Bust right, and climb a steep corner with a V4 boulder problem. Hang on for a final boulder problem culminating with a tech power crux. It joins  “

La Obsesion

” for its last 2 bolts, climbing out right, before heading to the anchor.

Climb first 5 bolts of “

La Obsesion

,“ then head left. Pull over a short bulge into a beautiful, right-facing corner. There are many micro-cruxes on this tour de tech. This is one of the few Burro Wall routes that climbs all the way to the rim. This was an abandoned project of Sanson, and Gross. Achey’s rigging mastery shines on this climb!

Begin with the same start as

Swagga Like Us

, and bust right after the bulge following cruxy moves to a right hand line of bolts.

This is a fun pitch that starts less-than-vertical on a fun variety of holds. After bolt 4, tackle a steeper crack/corner that leads to pockets and crimps through overhanging terrain to the anchor.

This is moderate until it's not, then it's on you. A slightly overhanging arete takes you to the chains.

Make funky moves past the first two bolts of

Doug

, then move up and left on bolts through some fun pockets to a stance below a steeper plaque of stone. Maneuver past two bolts, the crux, after which the angle backs off quickly.

Traddy-like climbing leads up through blocky terrain into a big V corner with 5.9 moves to the anchor. This route is mostly 5.10- climbing and easier except for about 10 feet. Just a few harder moves give the pitch and 11a rating.

This shares 3 bolts with

Beam Me Up, Scotty

and then veers right into a nice corner with excellent rock.

Start as for

Swagga Like Us

, but continue on the plumb line through fun movement and rock features. This is probably the best line at the crag. The crux is pulling through a bulge above the long chain draw, but it remains sustained throughout.

Start as for

Hollowed Ground

, but veer right at the cactus pod, pulling a bulge with fun pockets.

Climb a beautiful, orange streak of rock on the left side of the Burro Wall. This has two fun boulder problems separated by a section of tick tacky climbing.
