This route lies left of Robin Hood. Start in a corner and climb past 2 bolts to a roof.  Underling roof, step left and ascend easy crack.  There was a rap station with slings near the end of this route, not sure if it is still there.

This contrived route is a left-to-right rising traverse on grainy rock. While climbing most of this route you can simply climb straight up onto lower-angled rock and avoid the difficulties, however the bolt line forces you onto harder terrain. Zero stars out of five.

Climb huecos on the left side of the slab, on the left side of the rock to a two bolt anchor.

Rappel.

Climb a crack, 15' right of "Robin Hood", then up the unprotected face.

Climbs the generic slab between two bolted routes; perhaps worth doing while the rope is hanging there.

About 30' right of "Heffalump", climb an arete to the right of a corner, and up seams and face.

Climbs the center of the slab on the left side of the west face, and just left of

Heffalump

(5.4) - a route with one bolt.

Climb the slab past two bolts (5.8) and then run it out a bit higher up on easier ground.

This short climb with a very long name (perhaps the longest in the Park) climbs a right-facing dihedral formed by a block to a horizontal then finishes up a clean wide crack. Gear belay and scramble off the backside.

Located on the slabby left side of Target Rock's west face, just right of

Hollow Point

(5.8).

Climb the featured slab past one bolt (3/8") and then run it out on lower-angled rock to the anchors shared with Hollow Point.

Originally done without the bolt, which was added some time later.

Start up a left-facing corner system shared with

Archer (aka Friable Tuck)

and then where that route cuts left under the roof go straight up over the right side of the roof and up the face above and join

Robin Hood

to finish.

Climb up past three bolts, on the right-side of the main southwest face, to a ledge with one bolt. Rap 30 feet.

I previously listed this route as "Better You Than Me" as it is listed in Randy Vogel's 1992 "Rock Climbing Joshua Tree" guide.

I found it to be to be called "You Missed" in "Rock Climbs Of Central Joshua Tree" by Alan Bartlett. "Better You Than Me" is at Halfway Rocks.

Boulder up into a round alcove, then work out to the lip, pull up and out of the roof, oomph up a short slot to get onto the easy face above.  Somewhat tricky pro available shortly above that (before reaching the horizontal crack that would be the first available solid pro for Little John above that route's dihedral's exit).  Still runout but at least prevents decking. Continue up toward Little John's diagonal crack finish, up to same bolted rap anchor.
