This is the 2nd route on your left as you enter the Amphitheater.  It is slightly longer than

Slick Willard

, but a little bit easier.  Good slabby stuff.  Break right at a small roof, following a line of bolts to bolted anchors.

Solitary Confinement

This is a fairly cool, slabby climb.  It is the first climb on your left as you enter the amphitheater.  Several bolts lead up to a bolted anchor.

This is the 3rd route on the left side of the amphitheatre just prior to the headwall (past

Slick Willard

and

Climbing by the Brooks

).

8-10 feet up the route should be a stud w/o a hanger & nut.  The climbing is 5.easy here so either bring your own or run it out to the 2nd bolt.  The easy slab climbing will steepen as you climb.  The first pitch crux will be 1-2 bolts below the anchor.  If you're like me you can look forward to blasting the crux and landing on a slabbed section of rock below.

Both pitches are listed at 95 feet (so a 50 meter might just make it).  Credit the rating and length to the S.M.G. authored R&I mini guide.

This is an excellent route, climbing the dihedral next to

The Disclaimer

. It is surprising that this line has just recently been bolted given how long this area has been established for, but thankfully someone saw the glory that could be had and put glue-ins the whole way up.

The begining and end of this climb are classic style of the amphitheater, though the dihedral is anything but! 2 crux moves of smearing in the dihedral back to back with good rest before, after, and in the middle of them.

NOTE: a 70 meter rope will get you to the ground, if you only have a 60m, then bail after the dihedral to the anchors of

This route has highly enjoyable and technical climbing on very good rock.

Climb a bit of a slab start to access the arete and then nice face climbing to the anchors.

This would be a classic anywhere (Yosemite included) if it weren't for the first 10 feet of the route. Nonetheless, it is a little-traveled classic of the area.

). Many people find this route to be devious and difficult since all of the holds seem to be in the wrong direction. With that being said, you are on your feet the entire route. The crux is staying patient enough to figure out all of the moves.

Start on the

Full Male Deal

and traverse right onto the steep headwall. This is a long route with a powerful crux mid-height.

This route has more loose rock and lichen than the other two sport routes to the right. Be careful what you pull on. You may have to wander a bit to avoid loose spots. Hopefully this will clean up over time.

The first route to the right of the cave project (but rumor has it that one of kids from the gym sent the cave route) that starts in a shallow dihedral.

The true crux is 3 or 4 bolts up, but the redpoint crux is being able to clip the anchors.

Solitary Confinement climbs a line of questionable rock out of the roof of the cave that turns the lip past a couple more bolts to the anchor. It is a good and easy bolt ladder to train aid on some interesting terrain.
